We (my Bishop and I) are looking for a picture that shows a young .... perhaps deacon aged boy....who is dressed in a white shirt and putting on a tie. He is looking into a mirror and his reflection shows him putting on armor .....as in "the whole armor of God". It's a wonderful picture but we only have a photo copy and can't even make out the artist although it might be Christensen. He got this copy as a handout at scout camp last week but doesn't know who gave it out.
If any of you have seen a picture like this and know where I can get an originalcopy could you let me know. I'd offer money but, well, I don't have any!

That sounds like a "Mormon Ad" to me. I haven't ever seen a painting of that, but it sounds familiar, like it would have been out of the New Era.
I hope you find it. I know that Deseret Book sells MormonAd Sets. But I don't know how you could see what was in each one to find what you are looking for. My MIL works for, and my SIL used to work at the church office buildings. I will ask them and get back to you.

I've seen that picture several times. I'll have to go back to the mall and see who the artist is. It's a very cool picture, I love it.

The print is called "Called to Serve" by Don Christensen. I found it at Desert Book online (http://deseretbook.com/store/product?sku=4740514). But you might want to try other LDS online shops now that you know the name to find the best price. Hope that helps!
